February as a calendar in multicultural Malaysia has always been busy, with loud and cheerful Chinese New Year celebrations clashing with romantic Valentine's Day.

Thereafter, Hooi Shing finally found time to explore what her magic hands could achieve with new tools and techniques and here is the cutesy result:

Wedding Cakes for Teresa

Since childhood, Teresa has been a great friend of Hooi Shing. They played, laughed and cried together. As the "baker-in-chief", one of the best things Hooi Shing could do for Teresa would be a wedding-cake project for the joyous occasion--on the Chrismas Day!!

The idea is simple: a small wedding cake flanked by cupcakes adorned with Christmas-themed fondant decorations.

Both girls love teddy bears. A bear couple was painstakingly crafted. The resultant sweet--literally--couple sits atop a 6-inch butter-cheese cake:
